Afterglow is

the feature-length non-fiction film debut of director Ali Silverstein. A non-traditional documentary, the project began in 2008 in response to a life-altering event.  Over the next year and a half, Silverstein recorded over 60 hours of material culminating in the film, Afterglow.

"It is beautiful. We loved it. It is brilliant, smart, profound, full of poetry, visual and written and spoken. We are deeply incused by it, and wanting to appreciate each other more.  That is the best kind of experience with a film."
- Richard Bausch (author of Peace, Wives and Lovers, Someone To Watch Over Me)
